I’m not impoverished, homeless, and abused due to moral, behavioral, or educational failing.
I'm a fucking punching bag; it's deliberate, calculated, and all-encompassing. My Black skin is a trap. My sexuality is a threat. My body and labor are only desirable as long as they're taken by force and for free.
This is not a personal problem for Black and poor people. When will you understand it's systemic? That means it doesn't matter what we do; we will end up at the bottom because everything is literally working against us.
